Do you work off a drawing or do you need to come measure?
Either. Most of our work is done off measurements the customer sends us. For Gauteng jobs we'll come measure if you'd rather.
Isn't custom more expensive than buying a standard unit?
Usually it is, and with us it mostly isn't. Standard units are built heavy because TIG welding forces the fabricator up a gauge to stop the sheet distorting. We laser weld, so we can build lighter without warping, and the steel saving covers most of the difference. Get us to quote against the catalogue price you're looking at.
304 or 316?
304 for normal indoor food-grade use. 316 if you're coastal, or if you wash down with anything harsh. 316 costs more and lasts where 304 wouldn't.
What's your lead time?
Depends on the run. Ask us with the enquiry and we'll give you a date with the quote, not a range.
Do you deliver outside Gauteng?
Yes. Crated and palletised, anywhere in South Africa. Deliveries into the Eastern Cape are routine for us.
Minimum order?
No. One table is a job.
Can you copy an existing table?
Yes, and it's the easiest brief you can give us. Photos plus three measurements is usually enough.
Can you match the height of our existing benches?
Yes. Give us the height off the floor to the top surface and we'll build to it.
