Who builds it
Design is done in Port Elizabeth. The fabrication is done by Eddie, a qualified boilermaker who trade tested through an AECI apprenticeship and has been in steel since 1997.
He didn't just weld for a living — he taught it. For years he was a welding instructor and registered assessor, training and coding welders in MIG, TIG, arc and aluminium for Ford Motor Company's approved panel shops across Gauteng, the Free State and Western Cape, and for Jaguar Land Rover's. He worked as a welding consultant for Böhler Uddeholm, and project managed the installation of the chassis plant at Ford Silverton for the new Ranger, including planning work with the equipment builders in Detroit.
Pressure vessels, pipelines, plant erection, precision boilermaking, sheet metal from 1.6 mm up and heavy plate beyond that. The man who trained the panel shops is the man building your table.
