Custom stainless steel sinks, tables and units

Built to your measurements, not to a catalogue. Laser welding puts less heat into the steel, so there's no warping and you get a true-to-design product. Designed in Port Elizabeth, manufactured in Johannesburg, delivered anywhere in South Africa.

Working from a drawing, a photo of the old one, or a rough sketch on the back of a delivery note — all three work.

What we build

Sinks and tables are the bulk of it. Single, double and triple bowl sinks. Pot wash and wash-up units. Prep tables, deboning tables, packing tables, sorting tables, cupboard/storage units. Wall-mounted and free-standing. With undershelf, without, splashback, no splashback, on castors, on adjustable feet, bolted to the floor. We work according to your design or concept.

If it's stainless and it's flat or it holds water, we've most likely built one.

Beyond that we build to drawing: wash troughs, hand-wash basins, trolleys, shelving, hoppers, chutes, guards, covers, stands, extraction canopies and brackets. If you've been quoted on an import for something that's essentially a folded and welded sheet of 304, send it to us.

Who we build for

Abattoirs and meat processing

Dressing and offal tables, deboning tables, wash troughs, boot and hand-wash stations, carcass rail brackets, inspection platforms. Built for daily hosing down and to survive an inspection.

Butcheries and meat wholesalers

Prep tables, wash-up sinks, wall shelving, mincing and packing benches, trolleys. We'll match the run to your existing shopfitting so the new bench doesn't stand out from the old ones.

Factories, packhouses and food plants

Sorting and packing tables, conveyor frames and side guards, hoppers and chutes, tank stands, platforms, hygiene stations. Bulk runs of identical units, all to the same spec, delivered together.

Hunting lodges and game farms

Skinning tables, game larder fit-outs, biltong drying cabinets, cold room shelving, wash-down sinks. Most lodges are hours from the nearest fabricator — we build off measurements and ship it out on a pallet.

Commercial kitchens

Hotels, restaurants, hospitals, retirement homes, schools, contract caterers. Prep tables, pot wash units, wash-up counters, extraction canopies, knee-operated hand-wash basins for health inspection.

Breweries and distilleries

Grain hoppers, tank stands, work benches, drip trays. Small runs and one-offs are fine.

Home kitchens, laundries and braai areas

Kitchen sinks and counters, laundry counters that fit over your machines, braai and bar counters, cabinets with doors and drawers. Built to fit your space, not the nearest catalogue size.

Anything else stainless

Laboratories, veterinary practices, dairies, bakeries, car washes, cold rooms, marine. If it's food grade or wash-down, it's the same job to us.

Why laser welded

Laser welded stainless steel double bowl sink with drainer inserts, top view showing flat seams

Most stainless work in South Africa is TIG welded. TIG puts a lot of heat into the sheet, and heat means distortion. The way fabricators get around that is by going up a gauge — building your table out of heavier steel than the job actually needs, purely so it survives the welding without buckling.

We laser weld. The weld is narrower and the heat is in and out fast, so the sheet doesn't move. That means we can build in thinner stainless and it still comes out undistorted.

The finish is better too. Almost no grinding afterwards means an even surface and no thinned-down patch waiting to corrode. On a food-grade unit the weld is the part that fails first. Ours doesn't look like a repair.

Where we don't go thin

Chopping and deboning surfaces, anything taking impact or heavy load, and anything getting stood on — those we build in heavier gauge, because thinner steel would flex. Tell us what happens on the surface and we'll spec it honestly.

Materials and spec

304 stainless
For indoor food-grade work — the standard for kitchens, butcheries and factories.
316 marine grade
For coastal, high-chloride, salt or chemical wash-down environments. If you're on the coast or you clean with anything aggressive, take the 316.
Tops
From 1.0 mm where the surface is for prep, packing, sorting or wash-down — laser welding keeps it flat at that gauge. 1.2 mm and 1.5 mm where there's load, impact or a chopping surface.
Legs
38 mm or 50 mm tube with adjustable feet, or castors with brakes.
Finish
Standard finish is a brushed grain.
